You’re the expert on your own life, and we want to help you realize it

Therapy is most successful when you feel safe, comfortable, and heard. Finding the right therapist for you is essential, and starts with getting a sense of who they are and how they practice. Here’s a little bit about us and how we work.

Ashley Carr, MSW, RSW

Practice Owner

I am a Registered Social Worker, with a passion for helping people discover more about themselves. I support individuals looking to deepen understanding of themselves and their difficulties, navigate life transitions, improve self-esteem and discover resiliencies. My approach is client-centered, collaborative, and integrative. As you are the expert on your own life and experiences, I aim to learn about you, and provide my knowledge and expertise to help you reach your goals.

I strongly believe in the power of self-awareness and gaining insight into our experiences, feelings, and behaviours.

My aim is to walk with you through self-discovery and growth, providing a safe, collaborative, and authentic space to work on goals that are meaningful to you.

I take an integrative and strength-based approach to therapy, meaning I will adapt my interventions and approach based on what will be most useful, and what you are finding helpful. My style is most informed by the following therapeutic models:

Taylor Paskar, BSW, RSW

Associate Therapist

As a Registered Social Worker, I offer a compassionate and supportive space for individuals struggling with a range of issues, with a particular passion for body image, disordered eating, and perfectionism.

My social work background allows me to work with and embrace diverse beliefs, bodies, and experiences with an anti-oppressive lens. I use a collaborative approach that combines emotion-focused, narrative, & humanistic therapies to create a supportive environment for exploring your emotions, empowering you to craft your own story of healing & self-discovery.

Together, we can work on cultivating meaningful relationships, developing long-term strategies for personal growth, and ultimately achieving a more fulfilling life.

Therapeutic approaches:

My professional areas of interest include body image and self-worth struggles, disordered eating, perfectionism, symptoms of depression, and anxiety. With a commitment to maintaining an anti-oppressive practice, my person-centred approach is informed by principles of narrative, emotion-focused, and humanistic therapies.
